Orfeo Music Player
Privacy policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026
Your music stays on your device. This policy explains local app data, website visits and support emails.
Controller and contact
The controller for this website and support enquiries is Peste Razor, who presents Orfeo Music Player on Peste Products. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact peste.razor@gmail.com.
1. Data in the app
Orfeo is a local music file player. It requires no account and includes no advertising, tracking or usage analytics services. The app does not collect or transmit music, artwork, metadata, playlists or playback history to the developer. It does not sell personal data.
2. On-device processing and storage
Files copied into MusicLibrary remain in the app’s container on your device. Playlists, preferences and the last listening session are stored locally. Artwork, metadata and Magic EQ profiles are processed on the device. They are not sent to an AI service or developer server. Device backups and operating system diagnostics, if enabled, depend on your Apple settings and services.
3. Managing and deleting local data
You can remove tracks using Files, delete playlists in Orfeo and clear caches in the app’s Settings. Clearing caches preserves music and playlists. Deleting Orfeo removes its local data: first save a separate copy of MusicLibrary. Any existing backups must be managed separately in the relevant service settings. The controller cannot remotely access or delete files on your device.
4. When you visit this website
Privacy and Support links open this site in your browser. Hostinger hosts the site. To deliver pages and protect against abuse, its infrastructure may process IP addresses, request date and time, requested URLs, response status, browser and technical connection data. These pages include no advertising tools, tracking pixels, behavioural analytics, remote fonts or embedded third-party content. The page code sets no cookies and does not use browser local storage. Technical processing is based on the legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
5. When you contact support
Support uses the Gmail address above. When you write, your email address, any supplied name, message and attachments are processed to respond, understand the issue and manage your request. They are not used for newsletters or advertising. The legal basis is handling your app-related support request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); for general enquiries it is the legitimate interest in responding (Article 6(1)(f)). Providing information is optional, but without contact details and an issue description we may be unable to help. Do not send passwords, personal documents or music files, and redact unnecessary personal details from screenshots.
6. Recipients, providers and transfers
Hostinger provides hosting and Google provides Gmail for support email. Data may be processed by their infrastructure and parties needed to deliver these services, including in countries outside the European Economic Area under the providers’ applicable terms and safeguards. Information on locations, recipients and safeguards is available in Hostinger’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy, including its transfer section. Information may also be disclosed to authorities when legally required. External links are subject to the respective sites’ privacy policies.
7. Retention
Local app data stays on your device until you delete it, except for temporary caches that can be rebuilt. Support messages are kept as needed to handle the enquiry and follow-up questions; further retention is limited to legal obligations or disputes. Technical website logs follow the hosting service’s rotation and retention practices; no additional log archives are created to profile visitors. Data needed to investigate an incident may be retained for the time required to handle it. Contact the controller for retention information or deletion requests.
8. Your rights
Where applicable under the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of personal data processed by the controller. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority. No profiling or automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects are carried out. To exercise your rights, use the contact address above.
